  1. It is hard to say without knowing what applications you are going to use. Both brands have great models for all kinds of work, but you should choose Acer if you have a low budget and HP if you are looking for a high-end, gaming laptop.

    We have one Dell XPS 9500 model in our office and it has never been as loud as many bad reviews say. I think only a small fraction of XPS owners have this problem – happy buyers usually do not write reviews or comments on forums at all. The Dell XPS series is perfect for every kind of work, and only a limited budget would make me choose Asus (which also is a good brand).
